👾Hello @GastonSKL, congratulations on your first solution!
Nice code and nice solution! You did a good job here putting everything together. I’ve some suggestions for you:
1.Fix the alignment of the whole content using
flex
andmin-height
to manage the vertical alignment and make everything centered.First of all putmin-height: 100vh
to thebody
to make the body display 100% of the viewport height (this makes the container align to the height size that's now 100% of the screen height) size anddisplay: flex
eflex-direction: column
to align the child element (the container) vertically using the body as reference.body { min-height: 100vh; font-size: 15px; font-family: 'Inter', sans-serif; background-color: var(--Verydarkblue); display: flex; flex-direction: column; align-items: center; justify-content: center; }
2.To get closer to
overlay effect
on the photo as the Figma Design its better you usemix-blend-mode
. All you need is thediv
under theimage
with thisbackground-color: hsl(277, 64%, 61%);
and applymix-blend-mode: multiply
andopacity: 80%
on theimg
orpicture
selector to activate the overlay blending the image with the color of the div. See the code bellow:img { mix-blend-mode: multiply; opacity: 80%; }
✌️ I hope this helps you and happy coding!
