Sadly the link to github just gets me to my own home page, so it's hard for me to properly give you advice.
Visually everything seems good except the gap between every links that is a little on the low side.Without your code I can't see what approach you've used, personally I went for a flex container using a flex-direction of column and a set gap property.
I see you too are looking to use sass/scss. I too am getting started with it so as much as I would have wanted to I am not sure how helpful I could have been yet.
