Skilled elearning landing page flex, fiddle, fluff and guesswork

On the whole, the solution is nearly there, did have a container around the whole thing (header, footer and main) and set max-width to 1024px. Would a solution normally have a class to set width added to the header, main and footer? Or, is a container an acceptable solution?

The only struggle was really the overflow, stuck it in the wrong place, 30 minutes of my life I won't get back for that one.
