Solution retrospective

I had some problems with making it responsive, so i started first with positions absolute but later on i couldn't make the 2 smaller boxes to fit with the top box.

So then i went on with display grid (which i had a bunch of other problems haha) but i was able to make more acceptable.

I would like to know if there is a better and problems free way of making it responsive
