Solution retrospective

Hi! I wanted to feel a spike in difficulty, so I left my junior challenges for a while and went for an advanced challenge, and I have to say that it was pretty fun to make, I definitely want to do more projects like this (though there's just one more free advanced challenge i think πŸ˜₯)! I learned a LOT of Vue doing this challenge, actually I think I spent more time watching tutorials and reading documentation than anything else, my solution it's far from perfect so I will be trying to optimize the code. As always any feedback is welcome!

Not giving this solution a like β™₯️β™₯️ should be a crime πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I would have given it a 100 likes if I could ☺️☺️. Thumbs Up! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Hi Eduardo! Your game is super cool! Nice work! I only noticed a couple of things:

  1. After I won a few rounds, the score remained "1".
  2. There appears to be the following console error, so perhaps its related...

VM87:85 TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'close')

I hope this is helpful

@natashapl Hi! Thanks for taking your time to try my solution! I fixed the console error, it was something like an unread variable, it had no relation to the score counter though. I tried to replicate the error with the score that you encountered using Chrome, Firefox and on my phone with Brave, but on all of these browsers it seems that it was working just fine, could you tell me in what browser you tried the page so I can investigate more? Thanks!

@KTrick01 I just tried again and all appears to be working now. In my experience, sometimes when there's a console error, it can prevent other scripts from working properly. My theory is that it may not have been directly causing the error, but somehow preventing the function that controls the score from behaving as expected. All good now though! :)
