REST COUNTRIES API WITH EXTRA FEATURES

Hello guys! This is my solution to the REST Countries API challenge. Please take a look if you have time and tell me where I can improve. That'd really help me! 👍😁

I added some extra features to make it more challenging: a suggestion of country and region, for when there's no match for the country that the user is looking for, and a sorting mechanism. I hope you find them useful.

One question: How can I improve the performance of this application? Do you have any general tips to improve performance in any application?
