REST COUNTRIES API with color theme switcher using vanilla Javascript

Hi guys This is my first project using API and despite the challenges I faced am very excited to have completed this project. The part I find difficult is the implementation of various functionalities(search functionality, rendering of the Ui, and error handling). I also tried as much as possible to build this project using MVC architecture although it wasn't in the strictest sense based on the fact that am just getting to know about the architecture. The area of my code am unsure of is the semantic HTML. I tried as much as possible to use the right tags that conform to the best practices. But I feel like it is not as perfect as expected Looking forward to your feedback. Thanks
