Responsive Results summary component with tailwind css
Design comparison
Solution retrospective
Hey there all, finally made my first project using tailwind css, well it's much like a pain in the ass for me, as I have to install it and then make it work, also the html is more bloated and that feels like hell at the text-editor :(
On the pros it is more easy you have lot of classes to aid you and changing something is easy as well, specially I'll appreciate the low-level class assistance
Tell me your first experience with tailwind........
Also do provide tips to help me in using tailwind the right way.......Thanks for your time to appreciate and give feedback.......

Hi Nayanπ
I had a similar experience when I was just starting with tailwind but as I got used it, it is an excellent tool in the long run. I did not like how it cluttered my HTML markup however, once I began to use it with a framework like React JS, all I had to do was extract all that repetition into a component or a partial and since then I have never looked backπ

Hello there π. Congratulations on successfully completing the challenge! π
- I have other recommendations regarding your code that I believe will be of great interest to you.
DECORATIVE SVG'S β¨οΈ:
- The
alt
attribute is used to provide alternative text for images in HTML documents. Thealt
attribute is used by screen readers to describe the image to visually impaired users, which is essential for web accessibility.
- Now, when it comes to decorative
SVGs
, they are used purely for aesthetic purposes and do not convey any important information or functionality to the user.
- Since these images do not convey any important information or functionality, there is no need for an
alt
attribute.
- So feel free to set the
alt
attribute as""
for decorativesvg's
, becausealt=""
will be skipped by screen readers they will consider the image as decoration
Example:
<img src="images/decorative.svg" alt="">
<img src="./images/icon-reaction.svg" alt="reaction-icon"> π <img src="images/icon-reaction.svg" alt="">
.
I hope you find this helpful π Above all, the solution you submitted is great !
Happy coding!
