Solution retrospective
What I am the most proud of is that my finished page looks decent on mobile and on desktop with little tweaking done to make it work. I think next challenge that I work on I may use a framework instead of trying to fight through vanilla css.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them? Some of the challenges that I encountered was: screen height messed with the positioning of the images, finding the most correct looking social media icons, then linking them correctly so that they work, and adjusting the size of the social media icons.
I overcame these issues by constant testing on different widths and heights for different screens, settling on social media icons that weren't pixel perfect, but were close. Finally, linking of the social media icons and sizing were overcame by just reading through the documentation on the page on how to do so.
