Hello Guys

My only challenge in this project was placing the bg-pattern-bottom and bg-pattern-top in the top left corner and bottom right corner of the body background respectively.

I tried using background-position: left top, right bottom I also tried using the transform: translate option but it never seemed to get it in the exact position as the project.

The first option was using background-image and trying to position it.

 background-image: url(images/bg-pattern-top.svg),
    url(images/bg-pattern-bottom.svg);
background-repeat: no-repeat, no-repeat;
background-size: contain, contain;
background-position: left top,  right bottom;
}

The second thing i tried was using the img to place the images in the body and using transform to try and position them.

 .bg-top {
  transform: translate(-60%, -60%);
}

.bg-bottom {
  transform: translate(60%, 60%);
}

Any help toward solving this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there 👋. Congratulations on successfully completing the challenge! 🎉

  • I have other recommendations regarding your code that I believe will be of great interest to you.

BACKGROUND iMAGE 📸:

  • Looks like the background images has not been set yet, So let me share my css snippet which helps you to easily apply the background color with the background svg they provided to place perfectly as same as design.
  • Add the following style rule to your css, after completing these steps you can experience the changes.
body {
  background: url(./images/bg-pattern-top.svg), url(./images/bg-pattern-bottom.svg);
  background-position: right 52vw bottom 35vh, left 48vw top 52vh;
  background-repeat: no-repeat, no-repeat;
  background-color: hsl(185deg, 75%, 39%);
}
  • Tip, Don't forget to generate a new screenshot after editing the css file

.

I hope you find this helpful 😄 Above all, the solution you submitted is great !

Happy coding!

@0xAbdulKhalid Thank you once again khalid

I think what I didn't know how to use was the vw and vh to position the images. I fixed it using the vw and it worked like magic. I'd have to study more on vw and vh though. Thanks!!!
