Any image or icon in image folder with name ending with "bg" (eg picture-bg). must be a background?

    Yes, that's correct, images/icons with 'bg' must be used as background images.

    Also, don't forget to add the path to your background images as a string. background-image: url("/images/bg-desktop.png")
