Solution retrospective
While I wouldn’t say there’s anything I’m particularly proud of yet, I’m grateful for the progress I’ve made in using HTML and pure CSS. It’s been an eye-opening experience, learning the foundational tools of web development and understanding how design and structure work together. One thing I would do differently next time is to experiment more with advanced CSS features, like Flexbox or Grid, to make my layouts more responsive and dynamic. I would also like to dive deeper into the interaction between HTML and CSS to make more visually appealing and user-friendly designs. Each project I take on helps me build on these skills, so I’m looking forward to seeing how I can continue to improve.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?I encountered some challenges when making the project mobile-responsive, especially with the media queries. At one point, I felt stuck, but I used ChatGPT to help me understand how to implement the correct media queries for different screen sizes. This was a great learning experience, as it not only helped me solve the immediate issue but also deepened my understanding of responsive design. Going forward, I plan to experiment more with different approaches to responsiveness, so I can handle similar challenges on my own and continue to refine my skills.
