Responsive Age Calculator with HTML CSS and Javascript

This challenge making me overwhelmed and twisted my brain. Because of the preventDefault() method keeps giving me error. If i put either between only day or month, the error message works perfectly, and its not submitted. But if i only put the year, well the error message shows up, but it gets submitted by itself, even though i put the preventDefault() method. Can someone help me why my preventDefault not working?
