It applies to the parent component(body), don't forget abut min-height. You can use grid instead of flex too(with some changes). Hope you found this comment helpful :)

The design have a good html/css structure. but it differ in the styling in background color and text font/color. it need a little improvement in these area.Then it will be good to go.
