πΎHi @ahmedhanyh, congratulations on your solution!π Welcome to the Frontend Mentor Coding Community!
Great solution and a great start! From what I saw youβre on the right track. Iβve few suggestions for you that you can consider adding to your code:
- The HTML structure is fine and works, and you can reduce at least 20% of your code by cleaning the unnecessary elements, you start cleaning it by removing some unnecessary
<div>
. For this solution you wrap everything inside a single block of content using<div>
or<main>
(better option for accessibility) and put inside the whole content<img>
/<h1>
and<p>
.
<body> <main> <img src="./images/image-qr-code.png" alt="QR Code Frontend Mentor" > <h1>Improve your front-end skills by building projects</h1> <p>Scan the QR code to visit Frontend Mentor and take your coding skills to the next level</p> </main> </body>
- Add a margin of around
margin: 20px
to avoid the card touching the screen edges while it scales down. - Use relative units as
rem
orem
instead ofpx
to improve your performance by resizing fonts between different screens and devices. These units are better to make your website more accessible. REM does not just apply to font size, but to all sizes as well.
Here's my solution for this challenge if you wants to see how I build it: https://www.frontendmentor.io/solutions/qr-code-component-vanilla-cs-js-darklight-mode-nS2aOYYsJR
βοΈ I hope this helps you and happy coding!

Hey @ahmedhanyh, some suggestions to improve you code:
- To give you HTML code structure, you want to set up your code in the following manner (only did parent containers):
<body> <main> <article class="card-container"></article> </main> <footer class="attribution"></footer> </body>
The Main Element identifies the main content of the document.
While the Article Element will serve as the cardβs container, because the card represents a complete, or self-contained, section of content that is, in principle, independently reusable.
More info:

- Add width: 100%; to your image to fix the warping happening and make it responsive.
Happy Coding! π»π
