Replace <div class="container"> with the main tag and <h2> with <h1> to fix the accessibility issues. click here for more on web-accessibilityand semantic html.
Add the alt attribute
alt=" "
to the img tag to fix the error issue. The value of the alt attribute is the description of the image. For decorative images like icons, there is no need to give it an alt value, for more on alt attribute Click here.There is no need to give the body a height value.
To center .card-container on the page using flexbox, replace the height in the body with min-height: 100vh.
For a responsive content which wont require a media query for this challenge, give the max-width and padding a fixed value, there is no need for the width value.
max-width: 320px padding: 16px
. Give the img a max-width of 100% instead of a width.Give .card-text a margin value for all the sides, text-align: center and a font-size of 15px which is 0.9375rem, this will be the font-size of both p and h1. Give p a margin-top value for the space between the text.
Use relative units like rem or em as unit for the padding, margin, width values and preferably rem for the font-size values, instead of using px which is an absolute unit. For more on CSS units Click here
Hope am helpful.
Well done for completing this challenge. HAPPY CODING

Hello there ๐. Good job on completing the challenge !
I have some suggestions about your code that might interest you.
HTML ๐ท๏ธ:
- Wrap the page's whole main content in the
<main>
tag.
- Since this component involves scanning the QR code, the image is not a decoration, so it must have an
alt
attribute. Thealt
attribute should explain its purpose. e.g.QR code to frontendmentor.io
CSS ๐จ:
- You should use a CSS reset. A CSS reset is a set of CSS rules that are applied to a webpage in order to remove the default styling of different browsers.
- Setting the width of the component with a percentage or a viewport unit will behave strangely on mobile devices or large screens. You should use a max-width of
320px
or20rem
to make sure that the component will have a maximum width of320px
on any device, also remove thewidth
property with a percentage value.
-
Use
min-height: 100vh
instead ofheight
. Setting the height to 100vh may result in the component being cut off on smaller screens, such as a mobile phone in landscape orientation.
I hope you find it useful! ๐ Above all, the solution you submitted is great!
Happy coding!
