Hello!
About your question, it would be better not to use bootstrap, not only in this project, but at all, especially when you are learning.
After you learned things, then you can use frameworks, especially on bigger projects, to make your life easier and speed things up, but, while you are learning, try to use vanilla stuff and stay away from frameworks.
