Your site looks pretty good on large window sizes. The main thing I think you should work on is adding responsiveness for smaller screen sizes. When the window size is small your website gets really squished together and you image shrinks alot in size compared to the white box. In my opinion you should avoid using the width: 40% for a project like this as the component should just remain consistent in size until the window is too small. Then you can change it using a media query. To read more about media queries and responsiveness, you can read this and this.
