Solution retrospective
I am happy to complete the challenge and with how it turned out. This is my first time using both React and Tailwind - I have been doing a couple of Udemy courses on JS/React and wanted to put into practice what I've learned so far. I changed the structure of the project a few times as I learned more through the videos and had better ideas of how to tackle it.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?-
I wasted an hour trying to work out why the quantity wasn't updating and it turned out I forgot to put break in the switch statement
-
Getting the modal to work
-
Deploying to Github pages using Vite - I couldn't get the images to load at all
As this was my first time using React and Tailwind I would appreciate any advice on better ways of doing things, more efficient etc. I'm not sure if I've went overboard with the components or not, and know that there will have been a better way to do things in terms of reusability. Definitely welcome any feedback as I'm still very new to front end development having only started to learn around 8 weeks ago
