Ping Coming Soon Page | HTML & SCSS & First time using JS

Hey guys,

First time doing anything with JavaScript, watched a few tutorials beforehand on how to select HTML elements using JS and decided to give it my best.

I've ran into a problem where I couldn't select what I wanted and had to do a little re-shuffle in my CSS, where I styled the error messages/borders using the element selectors instead of classes as usual.

Please let me know if my JavaScript is readable enough, took way too much time trying to come up with good naming conventions but ended up confusing myself :)
