Picture element to apply art direction on different dpi screens.

While providing for the main image responsiveness with the <picture> element, it was excruciatingly difficult to make it fit at the right place across various screen sizes while making its upper-right corner sticking out of the page with absolute positioning. I don't feel like my design is sound.
