You forgot to add a background-image with a background-size of contain a background-repeat of no repeat to the body. Repeat the same for mobile design using the mobile background-image in a media query. For more on media query click here
There is no need for flex-direction: column to center .product on the page.
Increase the max-width value of .product e.g .product{ max-width:400px;}
