  Your background isn't positioned properly. To fix this, change your background-size to contain. This will place it in the proper position and will be responsive during different screen sizes.

  @vcarames First of all, thanks for the comment! Actually I wanted the wave background to be centered on all screens (including small screens). If we set the value to contain, the background won't be centered on small screens.

  @OhSorrow If your goal is to have centered at all times, then your code is good to go. But the flat side of the of the wave img is always going to show (with the bottom portion looking like a wave and the top portion just a straight line.)
