Not necessary for you to upload the challenge again, you simply updated your repository and the change would also be reflected in the link you left in frontendmentor. That is, when you update your github repository, the deploy in netlify is also updated (the same for vercel or github pages) or at least that should happen unless it fails for some reason.
By the way, you don't see the changes in the hover, if you applied them.
