What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
I have never done overlay effect on image, don't even know that it is called overlay effect. I found a video of someone making overlay effect on image on youtube and did the same thing. It worked. Also added border radius to the image div instead of the actual image so it won't overflow.
