Hello there 👋. Good job on completing the challenge !
I have some suggestions about your code that might interest you.
Alt text 📷:
- The
alt
attribute should not contain the words "image", "photo", or "picture", because the image tag already conveys that information.
-
The
alt
attribute should explain the purpose of the image. Uppon scanning the QR code, the user will be redirected to the frontendmentor.io website, so a betteralt
attribute would beQR code to frontendmentor.io

alt
attribute, you can read this article. 📘.
CSS 🎨:

Setting the font-size to 62.5% can attract compatibility issues with third-party libraries or plugins. You can read more about this with this lectures:

- You should use the
box-sizing: border-box
property to make thewidth
andheight
properties include the padding and border of the element. This will make it easier to calculate the size of an element. You can read more about this here 📘.
- Use
min-height: 100vh
instead ofheight
. Setting the height to 100vh may result in the component being cut off on smaller screens, such as a mobile phone in landscape orientation.
I hope you find it useful! 😄 Above all, the solution you submitted is great!
Happy coding!

Hello @maxxcruz!
Your solution looks great!
I have a couple of suggestions for improvement:
- For semantic reasons, and since that is the main title of the screen, you can replace the
<h2>
with<h1>
.
The
<h1>
to<h6>
tags are used to define HTML headings.<h1>
defines the most important heading.<h6>
defines the least important heading. Only use one<h1>
per page - this should represent the main heading/subject for the whole page. Also, do not skip heading levels - start with<h1>
, then use<h2>
, and so on.This change may have little or no visual impact but they make your HTML code more semantic and improve SEO optimization as well as the accessibility of your project.
I hope it helps!
Other than that, you did an excellent job!
