Solution retrospective
Greetings, Everyone!
Another challenge completed, another step forward in improving skills. Though, I think it's time to step it up a notch and push myself beyond just trying to wrap my head around the overwhelming number of details and keeping them organized. I would love to hear your thoughts if you have a few minutes to take a look. Though I welcome any feedback, I could also use suggestions/observations on:
- organization of the CSS
- best practices with respect to the use of flexbox and grid, especially as it relates to structure. I find myself using grid for the overall site structure and filling the grid with flexboxes and their individual elements.
- another best practice issue is with my naming convention for selectors. I have a tendency to name items using both the element AND the class. I've done this because it makes things so much easier to find and track, but it seems like it creates extra bits of code.
I'd love to hear your thought on these, and any other observations you have.
Jeff
