Notes

As of 2023-10-18 the project is, I would say 95% completed. There are some features I still have to add and some I have planned as stretch goals. Feel free to watch the repo to keep up to date with all changes to dev and main branch. Some things I have yet to add is local storage and a functional backend using firebase realtime database for link saving and firebase auth for signing into the app via gmail.

Shareaholic - Link shortener API

The API I picked for this project was URL Shortener service hosted on Rapid API - The project brief instucts the usage of shrtcode's Link shortening API but at the time of developing this project the API was down more often than not so the change was necessary.

Objective

• Get more comfortable developing small scale sites using React.js
• Get more hands on experience interfacing and intergrating API's
