IP address Tracker

Hi all this is a question to anyone familiar with using react-map-gl, I used the package to set up my interactive map everything works fine but when the user changes their system appearance to light mode from dark mode or vice versa, the map doesn't re-render even though its props do but I get a jsx/babel transpiling error when I ran the build version of the app but in local host it worked fine, I found a work around to fix that issue so I can deploy the site but I'm looking for a bit more of an explanation as to why it doesn't work that way?
