Intro Section with responsive navbar and hero

Dear fellow learners, I will appreciate if you inspect my code and share your valuable opinions and advice. I tried to document it with comments as clear as possible. I suspect I overused JS for accomplishing the navbar functionality but not sure. Can you evaluate it from this point of view? And also, did I use correct semantic elements in the HTML?
