Hi Kath, I think it's a good thing that you mentioned you had used code from someone else's project. I'm not sure whether you are familiar with Frontend Mentor's community guidelines, which is available as a link in the "Community Feedback" section; the guidelines does state that you should avoid "plagiarising other people's projects by submitting other people's solutions as your own." In other words, you should be submitting your own code, and if you do need to take some part of someone else's, do remember to give credit to the person.
What did you find difficult in building this project? Can you give us some ideas on what you are struggling with?
Lastly, if you do need help in how to build this, you can try building it half way, then submit it here and let us know what are some things you need help with. This would be far better than copying someone's code, especially since there is the risk of being removed from the community if you are found to be plagiarising.
I hope this helps, and keep going!
Marked as helpful0@KathundPosted about 2 years ago@elaineleung yeh I know I have read all the info listed before I might just skim over it again. almost all the time all the code it minebut since I have never done and javascript I just found one that worked and used it. had to change some of it to make it work with my classes. If you know anything that can help me learn JavaScript please can you link me so I can work on that.
Thanks
0@elaineleungPosted about 2 years ago@Kathund I recommend checking out Scrimba's courses; they have a free course for Javascript, and if you've never really learned JS, I think you should check it out because you can code along with the instructor, and then you get to see how they write the code. Wish you the best, and please feel free to reach out whenever you got questions or just need some help 😊
