Interactive rating component : Missing JS DOM

Hello,

Here is the first part of the project. I'm calling it the "first part" because I couldn't figure out how to use the DOM to succeed in the second part. I didn't want to just go to YouTube or somewhere else to get the answers, so I'm submitting the project here first and then looking at your different codes for examples. I'd rather learn from several sources than just copy and paste from a single YouTube video.
