Any general tips are much appreciated. I know that the rating buttons are basically the same color as the background but I couldn't find the correct colors in the style guide so I just used the closest color that matched which was the same as the background.

Hey!
Well, first I`d suggest you to update the background of your content, as you can see in the selection, there is a subtle linear gradient that goes darker to the bottom. This will make it easier for you to perceive the right color for the rating button
Second: Don't forget to add the rounded background on each rating button ;)
