Interactive Comments Section using ReactJS and Bootstrap
Design comparison
Solution retrospective
I think just being able to use a JS Framework to build and deploy a site is something to be proud of especially for self-taught developers. Currently, I'm only able to use React and Bootstrap but I would also want to explore other libraries such as Tailwind and Typescript. I also want to be able to expand my knowledge on using other React hooks as well as routing and form handling.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?My first approach was to build the design or the UI first and then follow up with the JS or the functionality however that led to so many issues and so I had to redo the whole project and start over again. I then tried building the functionality first and then follow up with building the UI and that helped a lot. I'm also still very confused on which part should be made as a component as well as which data should be turned to state but I'm trying to slowly learn them along the way.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I believe there are a lot that can be improved in my code since I'm just starting to learn on using a JS framework but right now I'm trying to focus on learning how to properly handle states and props as well as event handling since it's very different when using Vanilla JS. I'm also planning on trying a new challenge where I can try to use routing and more about form submission. If you guys have any more feedback or suggestions, I'll be more than thankful for your help.
