Solution retrospective

My first site where I used all 3 frontend tools. I wanted to know how to validate the email address since I knew it could be done in HTML. I did use type="email", but excluded the pattern so I could use JavaScript. I am sure there is a better way to do both, but I am still proud I completed it independently. Any feedback you can give me is welcome.
