Beautiful. Nice work as always.
May be you can add a link to the logo and make 'Try it free' a little more interactive. It seemed to too subtle to be noticed.
Link to your portfolio is a nice idea. :)
Marked as helpful0@vandermsPosted over 2 years agoAbout the link to my portfolio it was actually a mistake :).
In the 'Getting Started' call to action I should have used the relative path './' since the project is not in the root domain (my portfolio website is in the root), but I used the absolute path '/'.
I am always making that mistake and probably there should be a lot of projects linking unintentionally to my portfolio.
0@BikeInManPosted over 2 years ago@vanderms Oh! My bad. I thought it was for marketing. I wouldn't mind at all if you were self-promoting too, SEO wise.
Anyways, Nice work as always. BTW, are those curved svgs provided or you have to do the curves by yourself?
0@vandermsPosted over 2 years ago@BikeInMan , yes those svgs shapes are provided. But positioning them was the most time consuming task in the entire project.
The problem with patterns like that is they don't scale up or down very well (the layout doens't look good in other viewports than that used in the design) and most of the time make them responsive is not very easy.
0@BikeInManPosted over 2 years ago@vanderms seems more difficult than I imagined. Probably it will take me a couple of years to get there.
0@vandermsPosted over 2 years ago@BikeInMan hahaha a couple of days, you mean. Your solutions are very good.
0@BikeInManPosted over 2 years ago@vanderms Thanks for saying that. It means a lot.
But it is true. I am just getting started with frontend development. I am still working on layouts. Then responsive design, responsive typography, responsive images..svgs.. animations. It is still a long way to go. And I can spend only one hour per day. Weekends a bit more. Slow progress, hence a couple of years..
