HTML responsive web page using css flex

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I'm very happy I learnt how to use the flex-basis in the CSS styles. I would use a CSS framework next time.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

At first, it was going smoothly until I had to design the links. I searched for solutions which lead me to using flex basis and it worked. Then I realized that the child's height wasn't the same as its parent's height, so I had to think of what possible way to solve it while attempting every solution that came to my mind. Finally, I thought of adding padding top and bottom only to the child element with worked!!
