HTML, CSS, Vaniila Js

Hello everyone this is my entry for the challenge something that is puzzling me at the moment is that there is overflow in my body element when i inspect it in the dev tools i find that when i remove width (which was set with a percent ) the overflow goes away but i find it so strange i even have a max width on the elements but i still get overflow any feedback is greatly appreciated
