Would like feedback on making the site responsive for mobile landscape? My idea is to add an additional media query to handle that size.

First your hover state for your buttons is only in the desktop layout
You should move your transition point to about 820px cause currently the layout starts to go off the sides of the browser where it is currently set

But aside from that Good Job on this
