Feedback on how I implemented the illustrations with pseudo elements would be appreciated.

I think it's not visible because you used before and after on faq container.
The faq container will be visible but not the pseudo-elements if almost the whole screen is covered with faq container... If faq container would be a bit smaller then before and after elements should be visible...
BTW. I have never seen such use of before and after elements... Wonderful work βΊοΈ

Thank you for your feedback! The reason the images got cut off was because I forgot to set a vertical margin on the FAQ container while simply centering it on the page. Just fixed that problem!
And the reason I decided to work with pseudo elements was that I wanted to keep the HTML simple π

Seems like it was you choice you always expand one of the faq item...if so, it's a nice preference
Unfortunately, the upper logo is not visible on my mobile screen...maybe because of some overflow hidden
