Solution retrospective
Since this project included a chart, I decided to try out Chart.js and it was fairly simple to set up and the documentation was easy to digest. I think the main thing that tripped me up on this was the webpage responsiveness, so any feedback regarding that or any best practices with any other code would be welcome!
