Expense chart component using Bootstrap and jQuery

Everything was coded to provide real data based on the balance at the top of the component. My main issue is restructuring getDate() as this is meant to start on "mon" instead of "sun" which getDate() [0] would be sun. I know I could write a bunch of if statements but wanted to do something cleaner so I will come back to this challenge as my skills progress. Any feedback is welcome!
