Solution retrospective

In this submission, you will see the solution to the standard project, meaning as it is offered in Frontend Mentor. For this submission, I took the simplest approach and excluded the bonus challenges. My plan is to resubmit the challenge after I have altered it to represent my own details, images, etc.

This is the first time I have attempted a challenge at this level through FM. While there were a few issues that had me "stuck" for a while, really the most annoying part was trying to understand svg files enough to feel confident in manipulating them through CSS and JavaScript/jQuery. While I was successful, I still feel like I need a good resource to understand the behavior of this type of image file so that it displays properly when transformed. MDN and W3Schools had basic theory, but mostly focus on the drawing of shapes and modifying the path or size directly in the HTML; in other words, they were not very helpful. Likewise these sites don't help much with the XML as it interacts with the svg. If anyone has a good resource, please, please, please share it with me.

Thank you, Coder-Compatriots! Cheers to all!!

Jeff
