  why floats ? just to learn them and use them ? you still have some alignment and size issues if you are trying to match the design spec. Also you absolute positioned item does not look to be position relative to the correct element. Also no mobile view.

  It might be good to start this project over from scratch and code it mobile first so you take take what you learned this time and improve on this challenge
