Countdown timer made with vanilla js and bootstrap

A solution to the Launch countdown timer challenge

Solution retrospective

I changed a little bit the challenge so that the user could select a target date for the countdown, and, at the end, the app shows up a message and makes a sound.

But when the app is running on a phone browser and it gets minimized and the countdown reaches the target date the countdown doesn't stop but it continue with negative numbers.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions.
