A solution to the Chat app CSS illustration challenge

Solution retrospective

I spent a lot of time trying to make a rounded for the background with a linear-gradient. I tried using border-radius but I couldn't get the exact shape as seen in the design. I would really appreciate if anybody could recommend a way to do this.

Also, any recommendation to make this code better is more than welcome and immensely appreciated. Thanks in advance.
