Design comparison
Solution retrospective
This was my first project using React and TypeScript. It was a very different process compared to the vanilla process that I'm used to. Using npm and installing, building and deploying projects is foreign to me.
I also rarely use grid, I mostly stick with flex so that took me out of my comfort zone as well.
Styling was fun and the toggle between themes ended up being very satisfying.
I'm also proud of getting the calculator to work with the keyboard as well as by clicking on the buttons.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Overall the project was fun. It was a lot of learning new things - but hopefully things that are useful for future projects. Nothing broke too much to the point where one thing stands out as being the most difficult part - surprisingly it all went rather well.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?NPM, React, Typescript... I'll take tips on anything! Building and serving projects like this is weird, but in the real world I guess it's an important skill to have.
