Blog Preview Card solution using HTML and CSS

Its my first frontend mento challenge submissions. I'm here to learn best practices while designing web pages. I found difficulty in defining the width with fixed measurements while trying to make things work for responsive. What's the right way of defining width and height of any element? Please review my solution and suggest some of the best practices while using measurement units.
