Base Apparel Coming Soon Page Made with SCSS

This was quite the CSS challenge, as the description said there was some interesting, tiny details to pay attention to. I learned a good deal writing this challenge.

I managed to place the error icon into the input field using z-index and some toying with the margins but I wonder if there is another, easier solution to it?
