Article preview component in HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Feedback would be greatly appreciated. I had a hard time when this component is in responsive mode or on mobile. When I press the share icon, the menu opens and closes, but I need to press away from the icon to allow me to press it again to open the menu. Can anyone shed some light on this behaviour? Thanks.
